Wizkid's "Made In Lagos" Makes History As The Longest Charting Album On Billboard

Nigerian afrobeat music star, Wizkid‘s latest album, "Made in Lagos" has become the longest charting African album of the decade.

The globally sold-out album spent thirteen weeks on the Billboard World Albums chart.

The big announcement was made by the singer’s official fan page on Instagram on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

Making the announcement, the page captioned

“#MadeinLagos has now spent 13 weeks on the Billboard World Albums chart. It is now the longest charting African album this decade. Swipe up to stream let’s get more weeks.”

This big feat is coming after, the superstar had an exclusive interview with This Day newspaper, opening up on his plans for valentine’s day as he plans on spending it with family.
